"It's great to meet you!  Wanda and I have returned to Oklahoma after 22 years of ministry around the country.  I love reading, golf, hiking, movies and working out at the gym.  And I LOVE being a pastor!  It's sick, I know.  But I really do.  That's why I married Wanda.  She's a Social Worker who is licensed counselor.  So I get free therapy!  Actually, it costs me my whole paycheck!!  We have two grown sons and an amazing granddaughter.  I hope to meet you soon.  But don't tell Wanda she looks like a grandmother, you might get hurt!"

"This fall I will be finishing up 12 glorious years in youth ministry and I can honestly say that I feel as called and passionate about youth ministry as the day I began this journey. And what a fun ride it has been. My vision for our youth ministry is for it to be a place where youth are loved, encouraged, and accepted and where they discover God’s plan for their life, discover how to live it out, and feel and experience God’s passionate love for them. In January 2011 I began to lead the GROW (Adult Education) ministry here at Shartel. I am very excited to be a part of our GROW program and am looking forward to great things in the future. Our GROW vision is to help you to grow deeper in your relationship with God, Grow closer with the body of Christ, and to Grow stronger as a family. Here are a few facts about me: I am a graduate of Mid-America Christian University with a Bachelors Degree in Specialized Ministry, I love the outdoors: hunting, fishing, all that stuff, I Love the Dallas Cowboys, and just about any other sports franchises out of the DFW area (OU and the OKC Thunder are beginning to grow on me)."

"After serving in Children’s Ministry for 12 years in Arizona I was called to Oklahoma.
Some say I must be crazy to move from AZ to OK. Tornado season does make me question my decision. I truly have come to love Oklahoma; the people are so warm and friendly. Although, the bugs and snakes I could certainly do with out. One of my greatest loves in my life is being a children’s pastor. Two of my most wonderful blessings are my son and my daughter. I love hiking and working out at the gym, scrap booking and watching movies. I need to rekindle my love of working out and get back to the gym NOW! I am honored to be a part of the Shartel team and look forward to meeting you!"

"I love leading others in the worship of music to the throne of God.   We are His creation, and I believe we are called to worship our Creator!   I’ve been married to my church camp sweetheart for 6 years and we have two beautiful little girls.  Luke is a high school geography teacher and an assistant football and baseball coach.  I graduated from Mid-America Christian University in 2002 and now work as the Chapel Worship Director there.  I enjoy scrapbooking, reading Christian fiction books, going to the movies and spending time with close friends and family.  In the short time that my family has been at this church, we have received much kindness and are developing some great new relationships. "What a thrill it is to be back at the Shartel Church. Barb and I served here for eleven years before moving to Vancouver Washington for an eight year vacation. It wasn't really a vacation, but the fishing was good. (I have pictures!) We have two wonderful sons, an amazing daughter-in-law and three grandsons. You KNOW Barb has pictures! "It's great to be a member of the Shartel Team! I recently graduated from Mid-America Christian University in December 2009.I have been on staff for one year at Shartel. My wife, Morgan, is also a graduate of MACU and is on staff there as the Coordinator of the Academic Success Center. I enjoy playing sports although I am not great at any, and playing RPG based video games."
