Hi! Thanks for checking us out! I've been the Senior Pastor at Shartel since January 2009. It was a true joy for my wife and me to return to OKC where we began full-time ministry so many years ago. Do you want to know a little bit about me  Okay, I love being a pastor; I love our Shartel church family, and I love our OKC Thunder! If you don't believe me, just come check out my office sometime. I'll be happy to show it to you personally anytime you come to visit us here, and I hope you'll do exactly that REAL SOON! Just look for the guy who's doing all the talking up front. That'll usually be me.  God bless!

After serving in Children’s Ministry for 12 years in Arizona I was called to Oklahoma. Some say I must be crazy to move from AZ to OK. Tornado season does make me question my decision. I truly have come to love Oklahoma; the people are so warm and friendly. Although, the bugs and snakes I could certainly do with out. 
Two of my most wonderful blessings are my son and my daughter. I love hiking and working out at the gym, scrap booking and watching movies. I need to rekindle my love of working out and get back to the gym NOW! I am honored to be a part of the Shartel team and look forward to meeting you!

Hebrews 4:16 NIV says, “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace to help us in our time of need.” My hope and prayer at Shartel is that you experience an authentic time worshipping our Creator. Music is a gift from the Lord, and I am honored to lead others into His presence each week! 
My husband and our family have been at Shartel since 2009, and we are so thankful for our church family and the friends that we’ve made here.

I am honored and thankful to have the opportunity to serve our wonderful children and families here at Shartel! My prayer is that through equipping parents and volunteers with effective tools, that our children will love and serve Jesus for their whole lives. My husband, son, and I love spending time together as a family, playing cards, sports, and exploring parks. I also enjoy gardening and serving our community as a Realtor in the OKC metro area.

Marvin works with our Senior Adults in helping to provide leadership with the planning and implementation of their programming and serve as our staff point person overseeing the care of our members. He will help to coordinate all of our volunteers who are serving in our hospital and shut-in visitation. Marvin and his wife Janice have been long time members of Shartel. Please give Marvin a warm welcome as he steps into this new role!

It's great to be a member of the Shartel Team! I have been on staff since 2010. It is wonderful to work at Shartel and be a part of this amazing team as we reach our community for God. My position has grown and changed since I began at Shartel as the part-time Ministry Assistant. I now oversee our print and online communications, manage the website, oversee technology on Sundays and throughout the week, and work on various other things. 
My wife, Morgan, and I are graduates of Mid-America Christian University. Our sons Clay and Colton are too adorable. We also have 3 great dogs, Oz a Black Lab, Jazzy a Husky/Lab mix, and Max an Australian Shepherd.

I love Student Ministry and sharing the love of Jesus with teenagers. From camps and conventions, to our regularly scheduled youth events, I absolutely love walking beside students and helping them find who they are in Jesus Christ. 
My wife, Caitlin, and I have been together since January 2014. We are both from Ohio, and attended Ohio Christian University together. We currently have one child, Oliver. Our journey to Shartel is simply put as “God at work”. We left our last position walking into the unknown, and as we put our trust in God, He brought us to Oklahoma and to this wonderful church family!

I am very blessed to join the Shartel family as the Pastor of Hispanic Ministries.  Over the past two years, I have been the lead pastor for Centro Cristiano Familiar, a church that is experiencing growth, especially from the time we have been meeting here at Shartel. As of January 2022, we are now one big family and it is a blessing to see the sanctuary Sunday after Sunday where people gather around to celebrate the Lord in their own language. What a blessing!
To let you know a little about me. I enjoy waking up early, going to the gym, eating Mexican food, Tacos, etc. you name it. I especially enjoy spending time with my wife, Alicia Hernandez, and my kids, Elisa, Giselle, Benjamin, and Baby Seth. God has been so good to me. It is my honor to be here and I am here to serve you and pray for you when you need it.
